  • Breakfast costs extra — The breakfast buffet is not included in the room rate. One guest noted it costs 12 euros and, while complete, may be considered a bit pricey.
  • Rooms and cleanliness rated lower than other aspects — While comfort is praised, the overall cleanliness and room condition score 7/10, lower than location and dining, suggesting some variability.
  • Parking is available but may be limited — The hotel lists parking as an amenity, but given the central Berlin location, spaces could be scarce or paid. Specifics are not provided.
  • Check-in starts at 16:00 — Standard check-in begins at 4 pm, which may be later than some travellers expect. Early arrivals can use luggage storage, but the room may not be ready before then.

“Great location, about 1 km from the zoo.”

“This was my second stay here – I wouldn't look elsewhere because it's just right. The subway and Ku'damm are no more than five minutes away, the area is quiet, breakfast is wonderful, and you can find dinner without much effort in the evening. Good service, coffee in the room and at reception, plus an iron and board. Thank you!”

8.4Verified guest

“Everything about the stay was great. Huge breakfast variety. Clean, quiet, and cosy. In the Superior Room, the free mini-bar was refilled every day. A Russian-speaking receptionist was a big plus. We arrived early, left our bags in the hotel locker, and went for a walk. The hotel gave us a free city map. Departure was quick and easy, even at around 3:30 am. With the child free on an extra bed, breakfast included, and the mini-bar, it was better value than similar options. The area is comfortable and quiet, the subway is a stone's throw away, and the zoo with buses to the airport is a 10-minute walk.”

8.4Verified guest

“Close to KaDeWe and generally very comfortable.”
